These photos are from my HO Scale layout, The Keokuk Secondary. It’s a semi-fictional industrial BNSF route shared with CSX, that runs  North and South between Keokuk Iowa and Lansing, Iowa. The route also shoots East into Illinois where it interchanges with CSX in La Harpe. The concept of the layout is inspired by the now defunct Keokuk Junction Rwy., now operated by the Pioneer Rail Corp. I’ve taken many liberties with altering the prototype; instead modeling what I enjoy. The use of the prototype is merely the frame to which I can hang any elements I prefer to model.  The era is present day.
